My 90' NA W/ 133K now purrs like a baby kitten. I am guilty of not posting thank you followups to people who give me advice. Thank you everyone, especially authors of the tech pages. I only had to spend $50 on parts and 5hrs labor to do it myself. You guys saved me alot of money; I'm sure the dealer would have charged a bunch for all this: I had rough/high idle, bouncing coolant temp gague, and ran really rough during warmup after a heavy rain. 1.) I cleaned all the harness connections mentioned in hesitation FAQ. TPS was really coroded, and was probably the reason my car took 3 tries to start one day. Some of the harness strain reliefs were busted. I wrapped these up good with electrical tape. Throttle bodies were still clean from last service. 2.) The tab on tob of the coolant temp sensor was loose. I tacked this down with some solder. Thanks to Rezident Evil on this one and the rain problem. I think I've been through enough rain now to call that problem fixed. 3.) Changed PCVs and fuel filter. Couldn't have done (or even found) PCVs W/O tech writeup. 4.) Cleaned air filter, although it didn't really need it.
